Beryl M Jones, born in Liverpool of Welsh parents, was brought up in Liverpool and Abermorddu near Wrexham. She has been involved in local history for the past 30n years and gained an MA in Local History Studies at the University of Liverpool. She is a Blue Badge Guide for Wales, a past Chairman of the Denbighshire Historical Society and Wrexham WEA. She is married to Derek and they have two adult children.
